Our Orange office is looking for a Graduate Environmental Scientist or Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects in the region, and be connected with other Australian and international teams who do similar work.

The work involves monitoring and report writing for various projects, including site work to test water quality, soil sampling, contaminated land remediation, etc. There will be client interaction, and projects are based both locally and further afield. You will have experienced staff to guide and mentor you, as well as access to the Young Professionals network.

We’re looking for someone who:

• will graduate by December 2022 with a degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
• has an interest in environmental work in a regional location.
• enjoys client interaction.
• has good verbal and written communication skills.

Any prior relevant experience will be highly regarded, but we are also willing to train someone who is interested in a long-term career in a regional office.

This is a role for GHD’s 2023 Graduate Program which starts in February 2023. The two-year Graduate Program provides structured training to develop your corporate skills. It will also link you to a wider graduate cohort located within Australia and internationally. The successful candidate may also have the option to work casually prior to graduating. Upon completion of the Graduate Program, you will have an ongoing role at GHD.
