The manager in our team was a great leader and a listener to his team. He always communicate with the team.

My manager is super supportive and has great listening. I feel very supported by the other managers withing my team. They give good feedback and praise and have formal systems in place to ensure that preparers are getting feedback

I have a very positive experience so far. Within our workflow, there are points for managers to give feedback to the preparer, and most managers send the email, with what went well, and what could be improved. I personally was reluctant to ask questions to managers (because their time is more expensive), and would usually ask my buddy or a senior, but realised it would be quicker to ask the manager, as they know about the job better. We also have PIC (Performance Inspiring Conversations) quarterly. The first PIC meeting is about your goals for the year, and the 3 meetings that follow are a catch-up to see how you're doing.

They are extremely approachable and down to earth. They are so knowledgeable and experienced and offer useful help with any work that I've had. They take feedback on board and make sure to keep us on track.
