Ware looking for engaging graduates for their HPC Support Engineer Technical Graduate Program and is seeking enthusiastic graduates, who are interested in the business of IT, and are keen to make an impact in technology.

The HPC Support Engineer Technical Graduate Program launches you into IT and aims to provide you with the opportunity to explore areas of interest you don’t even know exist yet by exposing you to different strategies and next-generation thinking. The Program consists of Working in highly talented support teams with real-world supercomputer system services and opportunities to join new supercomputer implementation projects, covering different areas of specialization before landing a confirmed placement in the 2nd year of the program.

About you

Qualifications:

  • Completed and graduated within the last 1 year with a Bachelor of Computer Science degree - or will be completed in 2023.  Minimum Credit average.  If you have completed your Master’s degree, there must be no more than 1-year gap between Bachelor and Master's degrees. 
  • Have a broad knowledge and passion for the IT industry
  • Are a well-rounded candidate with the interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence and partner with others under time constraints to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
  • Are you an Australian Citizen at the time of application

To be successful in this role, you should bring passion or exposure to any of the below:

  • Operating and Software systems as such Linux
  • Artificial Intelligence with a curiosity about helping solve business problems in the areas of cognitive automation, cognitive insight and cognitive engagement.
  • Industry Certifications (completion of Linux, VMware, and RedHat certifications at university highly regarded)
  • Storage and data management (including Parallel File System Storage and Metadata processing)
  • Emergence of Open Source software and their applications and use cases
  • Curiosity or knowledge of high-speed networking and security models
