Make a meaningful impact by providing practical solutions for clients throughout their unique journeys, from startup to growth, international expansion, consolidation, or rationalisation. Collaborate with a national network of clients from various industries, ranging from retail and kiwifruit to software and government departments. Leverage your accounting, tax, and advisory skills to deliver value-added solutions for compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. As a Private Enterprise Intern, you'll enjoy diverse work opportunities that align with your studies and entrepreneurial spirit, fueling the prosperity of New Zealand's small to medium businesses.

Your Day-to-Day | Ngā mahi o ia rā:

  • Financial Preparation: Accurately prepare tax returns, GST/FBT returns, and respond to IRD queries. Reconcile ledgers, analyse financial data, and prepare statements.
  • Management Accounting: Assist with income projections and research for business investment decisions.
  • Support and Secondment: Aid senior staff on larger assignments and manage non-company entities like trusts and partnerships.
  • Client Management: Respond to client queries effectively, identify value-added opportunities, and maintain client relationships.
  • Business Development: Develop and maintain client relationships, stay updated on business trends, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Learning and Development: Enhance skills in accounting software, contribute to proposal development, and adapt to changes in the business environment.
