We’re looking for an Automation & Integration Specialist to join our team in Auckland. Collaborating with international teams within IT Operations, the broader company and other partners. you’ll be responsible for the integration of systems and solutions in an entirely SaaS driven company to enhance work efficiency and data security.

Lightspeed has invested in a best in class platform for integration & workflow automation which is making solutioning easy, so you can focus on both the actual process and the improvements of it with your business stakeholders. You’ll team up to obtain business requirements and will be responsible for delivering fully implemented solutions, built yourself! You will also provide 3rd line support to our employees and will provide key coaching for fellow junior IT staff, helping them grow into future Automation & Integration Specialists.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Implement industry standard SAML SSO & SCIM provisioning across Lightspeed's Application Portfolio
  • Identify, define and model the business requirements for the application and custom components
  • Develop and document the solution through changes and projects, applying application architecture principles
  • Improve application performance by monitoring applications and evaluate the developed solution
  • Provide functional/technical support for users of the application and perform root cause analysis at a functional/technical level
  • Deliver input for and execute data migration tasks and drive the evolution and continuous improvement of Lightspeed's JML processes
  • Develop audit-proof systems and records; create quality control and assurance processes to prevent and check errors
  • Provide day-to-day support to Lightspeed employees by troubleshooting issues with vendors, and providing coaching on Lightspeed's IT systems

What you need to bring:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Demonstrable hands-on experience in information technology, ITIL/ITSM, and/or technical operations
  • A good understanding in translating business processes to solution and of the impact of changes on IT architecture
  • Previous experience in programming and an analytical approach of integration and automation issues
  • A customer-centric approach to end-user support and good organisational skills
  • Knowledge/experience in middleware solutions like Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Bettercloud is a bonus but not needed
