8.30 AM

Arriving at the office, I say hi to the team and check in to see how everyone is going. After putting my lunch in the fridge, I check my emails, send a few responses, and check my calendar for any client or team meetings. I plan out my day before heading out on the morning coffee run with the team. Next, I have an internal check in meeting to discuss workstreams, upcoming deadlines and any recent developments. I’m able to ask questions and receive guidance from senior team members and partners before jumping into some financial analysis needed for a report to one of our government clients. 

12.30 PM

The majority of the team head to the lunchroom after heating up some lunch or buying some from just down the road. The lunchroom is always filled with plenty of laughter and exciting updates from everyone’s weekends. Afterwards, a few of us go for a quick walk around the block to stretch our legs before heading back to the office for a productive afternoon.  

2.00 PM

After lunch, I continue drafting the report for our government client. The Partner strolls passed my desk and provides some additional insights and informs me of some new information that we received. I update the engagement manager, and we decide to tweak our approach to better suit the client’s needs. I continue with the analysis for the rest of the afternoon, but if I have any questions, the rest of the team is always ready to offer feedback and guidance.

5.00 PM

Before heading off for the day and after review from a Senior Manager, I send the draft report off for partner review. I check my calendar for tomorrow, send off any updates, and head out to play some team sport with one of my colleagues.
