Your role

Mirvac Internship is a part-time program designed to assist you in building your career in the Property & Construction Industry during your final year of study. This program allows you to apply your university knowledge to real-world projects and job activities.

 As a Graphic Design Intern, you will assist in the development of visual graphics for various project marketing purposes, under the guidance of a senior graphic designer. In this hands-on role, you will create print materials, social media graphics, videos and presentations. You will also gain exposure to AI generative art within the creative process and utilise graphic design software such as the Adobe Creative Suite to design visual content.

Based in the Sydney HQ, you will be working alongside experienced professionals and will actively participate in brainstorming sessions providing your insight into the creative ideation process.

You will be part of our Design and Presentation team, a multi-disciplinary squad of graphic designers, photographers, 3D visualisers, art workers and project managers. They specialise in brand development, brand extension, editorial, digital graphics, 3D visualisation, presentations, and packaging design across the entire Mirvac Group.

About you

If you meet the following criteria, you are eligible for this role:

  •  Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen 
  • Availability to work a minimum of 2-3 days per week 
  • Penultimate year of your Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Design, Visual Communication or similar and due to graduate in 2025 
  • You will possess a keen eye for detail, a can-do attitude, and a strong enthusiasm for the Design and Creative sector. 
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to problem solve in a dynamic, fast-paced environment  
  • Collaborative nature, with the ability to form strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders 
  • Passionate about delivering customer-focused quality, leaving a positive legacy in the communities in which you operate

Training & development

The internship offers an 11-month paid experience designed to fit academic schedules, featuring rotations across various job families and asset classes. During the program, you will engage in Hatch Innovation Projects, participate in asset site tours, attend corporate learning programs, and complete property education modules. You’ll also have the chance to network with business teams and the Executive Leadership Team. Comprehensive support is provided through a dedicated Manager, a Buddy, and the Intern Program HR Team, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience.
