The NSW Government Graduate Program engineering stream will provide you with invaluable experience in analysing and addressing problems and coming up with practical ways to make changes that deliver for the community.

You will gain exposure and contribute to critical high-profile initiatives that impact the citizens of NSW. You could be working on a wide range of different projects across water, infrastructure, to transport.

With 3 placements in NSW Government, you’ll get to try different things!

Who can apply

The engineering stream of our 18-month program is open to all recent undergraduates and postgraduates with a relevant engineering degree.

We invite and strongly encourage Aboriginal people to apply. By joining the NSW public sector, you'll not only bring valuable cultural insights but also contribute to our collective growth and play a pivotal role in driving positive change in communities across NSW from day one.

We are a Disability Confident Recruiter accredited by the Australian Disability Network. We aim to deliver an inclusive and accessible recruitment experience for all candidates. If you are living with disability, we’ll work with you to make adjustments to fit your individual needs.
