GREAT MOMENTS IN ENGINEERING WITH DR KARL

As part of our nationwide search to find university students with the GradX factor, Raytheon Australia is presenting an interactive evening to celebrate all things engineering with Dr Karl Kruszelnicki.

On 12 September, Dr Karl will host a free Q&A session to students at the University of Adelaide, showcasing great moments in engineering.

Register here to attend.

ABOUT DR KARL KRUSZELNICKI

Dr Karl’s Triple J science talkback show, Great Moments in Science, is so popular that the ABC switchboard crashes every time the phone number is given out to listeners! Dr Karl also makes regular television appearances, has hosted science programs, writes magazine articles and has published over 30 books as well as masses of articles on the web.

In 2002, he was honoured by Harvard University with the prestigious Ig Nobel prize for his ground-breaking research into ‘Belly Button Lint and why it is almost always blue’, in 2006 was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia and in 2012, Dr Karl was declared one of Australia’s 100 National Living Treasures. In 2019 he was awarded the UNESCO Kalinga Prize for the Popularisation of Science.

We can think of no one better to convey the excitement and wonder of engineering!

DO YOU HAVE THE GRADX FACTOR?
