The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Experience with the software development lifecycle
- Knowledge in software environments such as C, C++, Python, JAVA, JAVA Script
- Knowledge in Object Orientated design methodologies
- Knowledge in SQL
- Exposure to developing applications under Linux OS and API's
Desirable:
- Eligibility and willingness to meet Australian Department of Defence security clearance requirements
- Applied mathematics
- Knowledge of IP communication protocols, XML
- Source code revision control system knowledge (e.g. GIT)
- Knowledge of network oriented installation and provisioning software
- Use of continuous integration tools
- SAST, DAST, DevSecOps
- Knowledge in Machine Learning and/or AI
- Knowledge of Big Data Applications
- Working within an agile environment (e.g. Atlassian suite)
- Configuration management and defect tracking tools knowledge
