Your role

The Vaccine Public Market Intern role sits within the Public Market team and is responsible for supporting the ongoing development of an online tool to assist customers (Cold Chain Breach Assessment Tool - CCBAT). This role requires a high degree of collaborative engagement across various commercial, marketing, quality, regulatory, digital, customer service and legal functions.

This role would be ideal for a student with an interest in Medical Industry products and looking to develop entry-level skills for a career in Marketing. You must be able to commit to working at least 2 days a week at their offices in Macquarie Park, Sydney.

Your priorities in this role will include:

• Develop monthly reports (Cold chain phone calls to Customer Service/queries that are escalated to quality/turnaround time for each of those…)
• Collate stakeholders' feedback on the usability and limitations of the tool and propose changes - identify pain points and areas of improvements
• Assess the feasibility & opportunities to broaden the scope of the tool to include additional services and suppliers
• Propose improvements to the Vaccine Public Market Commercial website for Health Care Workers.

About you

Requirements:

• You must be currently in your penultimate year of an Undergraduate degree studying in the areas of Business, Business Analytics, Digital Business, or similar.
• Pro-vaccination and interested in immunisation and health
• Commercial acumen with a desire to understand customers’ attitudes and preferences
• Excellent understanding of online productivity tools
• Solid team spirit and ability to work collaboratively
• Organised and systematic, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
• Hungry to contribute, enthusiastic and energetic
• A healthy level of common sense
• Good communication skills: visual, written and verbal in interfacing with technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficiency with MS Office and other commonly used e-tools
