What does a Civil Engineers in Water do?

Our water team has opportunities for graduate civil engineers to work tin hese areas:

• Water Infrastructure
• Dams and Hydro

On a day to day, you might be involved in:

• The Water Infrastructure team works to make sure that everyone gets water to their homes and businesses and ensures all the wastewater is treated and discharged safely back into the water cycle. This means taking care of water supply, water storage and water treatment.
• The dams team works on ensuring all dams are safe to secure our valuable water resources and provide security against flooding. The Hydro team is an innovative environment leading the way in providing reliable, renewable energy. On a day-to-day basis, (the DAM) Designs a dam upgrade, undertakes a dam safety inspection, or crunch the dam's instrumentation data. (HYDRO) Assisting projects in the Pacific Islands, designing a new hydropower tunnel, or comparing turbines for a new hydropower system.

About You 

• Civil Engineering degree  
• Passion for learning and problem-solving  
• Eligible to work in Australia   
• Currently in the final year of a degree or 1-2 years of experience
