About the role

Thiess has an opportunity for a Graduate Surveyor to join their formal Graduate Program, commencing in February 2022.

As a graduate you will receive structured, on-the-job training, guided learning plans, soft skill development as well as access to mentoring programs. On our two-year program, you will receive up to two 12-month rotations in various roles and projects across Central Queensland and the Hunter Valley in New South Wales.

The opportunity to rotate across our projects will provide you with a strong foundation to build your career.

About you

This role will suit someone who is:

  • Completing a tertiary qualification in surveying or spatial science at the end of 2021
  • Eager to learn new skills, flexible and adaptive
  • Excited to get exposure to the latest surveying tools and technologies (Operate and learn various remote sensing UAV systems and terrestrial laser scanning methods)
  • Opportunity to obtain CASA Remote Pilots Licence
  • Keen to pursue a career in the resources industry and ready to make a positive impact
  • Is willing to relocate to various sites and projects, as required by program rotations
