The coolest thing about this job is the real-life experience. For me is it not a specific task that I have enjoyed the most, it is the new sense of professionalism I have gained.

Don’t be afraid to go for roles you wouldn’t typically go for – you won’t know if you enjoy something until you try it, and where you end up can be very different than what you originally planned.

Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and be confident in your abilities, if you have prepared well you have given yourself every chance to succeed!

I get great joy in being able to assist a person on their journey to healing and support them in their most vulnerable time. I have been working as a new graduate for the last 5 months in West Ward at Westmead Private Hospital.

I love planning awesome lessons that can make maths accessible and fun for all of my students (my class rarely says, ‘I just hate maths’ anymore!).

My area of responsibility is to manage the insurance claims that our clients have when unfortunate, but insurable incidents occur for our clients.

Personally, I’m looking forward to volunteering and creating awareness about digital skills, especially because I want to see more women in technology.
