Air Liquide Healthcare is a member of the Air Liquide Group, an organisation based out of France. At the core of AL's inception in 1902 they really focused some specific gases like oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and some speciality gases but over the years has really diversified their portfolio and now anywhere you find gas we are basically present, we are involved in areas such as food, pharmaceuticals, construction, welding, diving, healthcare and medical electronics etc and we are currently 68,000 people in 80 countries across the world. Within the Healthcare company in Australia, we have 200+ employees based all around Australia.
In Healthcare Australia we have 3 prominent business lines:
- Medical Gases - supply their oxygen in the hospital (i.e. day surgeries, dentists and vets)
- Homecare Healthcare - When these people are discharged from hospital with an oxygen dependency we go into the home and train and educate them as to how to use their oxygen
- Sleep side of the Business - Diagnostic as well as therapy - The patient is set up with the equipment and then we do a data download of the night's sleep.
Opportunities:
- We have plenty of graduate opportunities. Rather than putting candidates through a graduate program we have specific roles that are tailored and suitable for recent graduates. These roles will provide industry experience in the field for a full time salary.
