In order to help Australian graduates seek out and apply for graduate opportunities, Give A Grad A Go offer a hands-on, dedicated graduate recruitment service in Melbourne, Sydney and across the whole of Australia. We are unique in that we offer a 360 degree friendly and down-to-earth service to candidates, completely free of charge and are committed supporting graduates launch their career.

Established in the UK and now expanding globally, over the last decade we have helped over 4000 recent graduates and young professionals with up to 3-5 years of experience launch and shape their careers. In that time, we have worked with over 800 businesses, across 15 industries. We work across a large spectrum of industries and graduate job roles, including marketing, finance, banking, IT & Tech, FinTech, Retail & FMCG, Creative & Design, Property etc.

Our candidates are not just first-time job seekers. A large number of the placements we make are candidates looking for their first or second career moves, or moving out of a more corporate environment into a startup and vice versa, as well as many candidates returning to us later. Over the years, we’ve won numerous prestigious awards. Shortly after we placed our 500th graduate we won our first IRP (Institute of Recruitment Professionals) award for ‘Best Company to Work For (up to 20 employees)’.

How does it all work for graduates?

1. Initially, we work closely with candidates to gain an understanding of what graduate careers they are looking for; and help to point them in the right direction if they are unsure about what they want to do. As a multi-sector agency, we're able to suggest roles that you could be suited to but might not have thought of. 86% of graduates we place, end up in job roles that they didn't originally apply for.
2. We then also work with candidates to perfect their job application, research the company, and prepare for the interview through our various resources; extensive 1-1 CV and interview help; Give A Grad A Go employability resources via our Youtube channel; career webinars; a reply to every application & feedback for every interview.
3. After the interview is over, we continue to be on-hand to help with contract negotiation, providing feedback, administration and generally act as a point of liaison between the employer and the candidate. We encourage employers to pay a fair salary and offer perks for grads.

We’re more than just recruiters, to our candidates we are mentors and educators. Working with them during university, we provide support and guidance to our candidates, some of who are taking on the job market for the first time.
