GVI tackles critical local and global issues by operating award-winning education and training programs on sustainable development projects
around the world.
We proudly partner with local and international NGO’s, government organizations and educational institutions, including Save The Children, the Red Cross, PADI, Project AWARE, as well as the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society. We also work with the National Parks of South Africa, Costa Rica, Seychelles, Mexico and Thailand (to name a few), in order to provide impactful sustainable projects in collaboration with local communities.
Formed in 1998, over 30,000 participants have traveled with us, with over 2,500 people participating every year.
We have won numerous awards and the vast majority of GVI alumni describe their experience with us as life-changing, with over 98% adding that
they would want to travel with us again in future.
In-country: Our hubs are currently in hibernation due to Covid-19. But you can still book for in-country programs schedules to start later this year / 2021. We offer unique in-country volunteer and internship opportunities in our locations across Africa, Asia, Latin America, Greece and Fiji.
