Quantium Graduate Programs & Internships

  • Technology

Founded in 2002, Quantium is a global leader in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. With over 1,100 team members across 14 locations worldwide, we help organisations maximise the potential of their data and solve some of their most pressing challenges.

Our unique partnership model enables leading organisations across the world to accelerate the value of data and AI for its business and customers. This approach also enables Quantium to bring world-class IP developed within these partnerships to new sectors, clients and markets.

We have established joint ventures with industry leaders Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CommBank iQ), Telstra (Quantium Telstra), and Discovery (Quantium Health). In retail, we have partnered with Woolworths Group and established ‘wiq’ – a team that brings together best-in-class retail and data analytics experts to reimagine retail and transform customer and supplier experiences. In 2021, we strengthened this partnership and Woolworths Group now has a majority shareholding in Quantium.

Recruitment Process

The Quantium recruitment process for all of our Graduate positions is a four-step process comprising of an application form, virtual testing and video interviews with our team.

We encourage all applicants to choose carefully and consider their strengths as you are able to apply for one stream only; Analytics or Engineering. If you are unsure as to which you should apply for, please reach out to our team with any questions you might have.

At Quantium we always strive to get the best out of all our candidates and understand that sometimes there may be some extra requirements to ensure a smooth interview process. At any point throughout the process, if you need a little extra help or require any reasonable adjustments, please highlight this on your application or contact the Quantium graduate recruitment team at gradsinterns@quantium.com.au.  We are always happy to accommodate where we can.

Remuneration & Career Growth

Our Quantium Experience is the promise to our current and prospective team members about what you can expect when you join the team. Irrespective of what role you’re in, the team you’re part of, or which office you’re located in, the Quantium Experience is our commitment to your rewarding and exceptional career at Quantium.

When you’re part of the Quantium team, we want you to challenge your imagination. We see solving problems both as an art and a science. We want you to constantly ask questions and help us push ourselves further with rigour and precision.  We also want you to think big, be bold and be creative with how we solve problems so we can forge a better, more insightful world.

Our Quantium Experience is defined by three key pillars:

  • Find your kind: We’re home for a lot of smart and unique people who are passionate about what they do.  No matter your unique superpower, this is a place where everyone can belong and do work that’s intellectually challenging.
  • Forge your path: Explore a breadth and depth of opportunities to make your own.  From unrivalled “osmosis learning” with the best in the business to partnering with top industry players, you’ll have more freedom to explore your craft – without the rigidity or roadblocks of other organisations.
  • Make an impact: More than data leaders, we’re here to transform business (and the world) for the better.  As part of a best-in-class team, you’ll share in the rewards when you get stuck in to delivering real-world outcomes that make a tangible difference in people’s lives

Ways of working:

We’re proud supporters of flexible working and encourage a hybrid approach, where some days you might come to the office and other days you might be working from home. This gives the best of both worlds and helps you connect with others socially in the office, at lunch or in our communities or clubs, whilst being able to work from home to do deep thinking and focussed work. We have a culture of unrivalled ‘osmosis learning’ where you will learn so much just by working with others, which makes our hybrid working work so well.

Diversity & Inclusion

Diversity and inclusion is integral to our Quantium Experience where everyone is encouraged to 'Find Your Kind'. For us, this means belonging and being part of a world class team, where you can find the people you have shared interests with, the social and technical communities you want to contribute to, and the cultural experiences you want to experience.

Our Diversity & Inclusion initiatives are centered around four key pillars – Women, LGBTIQ+, Culture, and Wellbeing.  Everyone in the team are encouraged to be part of these groups if they’re interested, as they actively help bring the broader team together through events and awareness programs. Our approach to diversity & inclusion ensures that every member of our global team feels a deep sense of belonging and can embrace the diversity that makes us stronger together.

Culture, development and social

Work is so much more than just time at a desk. We want to make the Quantium Experience exceptional, and we have lots of ways we do that every day.

Sparq – the backbone of our social and cultural events calendar. It’s what brings our people together whether that’s through annual celebration events like Quantium Day (a company-wide overnight trip!), knowledge shares, fireside chats or team social events.

Development programs – the development of our people is a responsibility we take seriously. Partnering with leaders across our Analytics and Engineering communities, our Learning & Capability team deliver a variety of development initiatives including our award-winning Graduate Academy, Advance Program, People Leader Kick Starter, People Leader Accelerator and Executive Development initiatives
