Disability Support at Sparke Helmore Lawyers

Sparke Helmore has a long history of supporting employment of people with disability both within Sparke Helmore and the broader community. We are a founding member of the Australian Disability Network (ADN), a national for purpose organisation supporting advancement of inclusion for people with disability, encouraging businesses to become ‘disability confident’. Through AND we were one of the first firms to pilot Stepping into Law, a paid internship program pairing law students with a disability with law firms. We are currently developing our first Access and Inclusion Plan and were proud to take part in the Autumn 2023 cohort of ADN’s Positive Action Towards Career Engagement (PACE) Mentoring program which supports job seekers with disability.
